PALMETTO BOWL Giving Challenge
The 122nd “Palmetto Bowl” kicked off at noon on Saturday, November 29th at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, SC.
We asked Gamecocks and Tigers fans to show your school spirit by joining in the holiday spirit, and created a special “Palmetto Bowl” giving challenge! We had two ways for the Gamecocks and the Tigers to share their school pride and generosity.
The Tigers may have taken home the game trophy, but the GAMECOCKS won the giving challenge!
- BIKE HELMETS (Goal: 400)
- Just like football helmets protect players on the field, bike helmets protect kids on their bikes. We still need 400 bike helmets to pair with each bike (and only 10 bikes to reach our goal of 500!).
- DONATIONS (Goal: $10,000)
- Help us make sure no family is forgotten this season. There are 640 families awaiting adoption, and your gift will help us ensure they are remembered on Christmas if they are not “adopted.”
