Who We Are
Families Helping Families of the Midlands is a 36-year partnership between the statewide nonprofit Palmetto Project (PP), WIS News 10 (Grey Media). In 2026, we welcomed B106.7 FM (WTBC) to our Back-to-School Supply Drive as well!
Nell Killoy, Vice President and Director of Thriving Families for Palmetto Project, has partnered directly with the team at WIS News 10 to support the planning and operations — but Families Helping Families of the Midlands could not exist without the incomparable generosity of our Midlands community of donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
Families Helping Families is a success every year because of each of you.
Palmetto Project was founded in 1984 to identify innovative programs to improve health, social, educational, and economic outcomes in the Palmetto State.
