Data Entry

Shift Length: 3 hours (beginning October 1, 2026)

Location: Palmetto Project Offices

Skills You’ll Need:

Attention to detail—especially with names, addresses, and eligibility criteria. If you have questions while entering data, a staff member will be available to assist.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Upon arrival, please check in with Nell or designated data entry manager that day.

You will be provided with a stack of completed paper applications from families requesting holiday assistance.

Your task is to enter each application into our Access database, following the format and fields provided.

Phone Bank

Shift Length: 3 hours (beginning Monday, November 16, 2026, and is subject to change)

Location: WIS News 10 Station

Skills You’ll Need:

Attention to detail — especially with names, addresses, and eligibility criteria. If you have questions while receiving a pledge or donation, a staff member will be available to assist.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Your task will be answering phones, taking donations, and making appearances onscreen!

Shift Length: 5 hours (beginning Monday, December 2, 2026)

Location: TBD

Skills You’ll Need:

Ability to lift, push, enter data, wrap gifts – we will take almost anything you can offer!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with gift deliveries from “adopters,” assembling bikes, wrapping gifts.

Interacting with other volunteers and Palmetto Project staff, and families by helping deliver gifts to the cars of families or agencies on “pick-up days,” and more.
