Our History

For 36 years, Palmetto Project has partnered with WIS News 10 and the incredible Midlands community to bring holiday magic to more than 80,000 families.

In 2024, teachers, parents, and community-based organizations shared with Palmetto Project that neighbors in need needed support at the start of the school year.

So we took action. With YOU.

Because of the generosity of our Midlands friends and families, we have provided 1,600 backpacks filled with school supplies for local students in need since 2024.

In 2026, can you help us reach 1,500 Midlands students in need?
