THANK YOU for making 2025 a success!

Annual back-to-School Supply Drive

THank you!

Our annual back-to-school supply drive in partnership with WIS News 10 was a success because of YOU in 2025.

Thank you for helping us exceed our goal.

Your generosity provided 1,100 backpacks to children in need in seven (7) Midlands school districts!

Thank you for sharing the true meaning of community with our Midlands neighbors as we kick off the 2025-2026 school year.

Stay tuned for how you can carry that spirit into the holiday season!

for School Success

Our History

For 35 years, Palmetto Project has partnered with WIS News 10 and the incredible Midlands community to bring holiday magic to more than 75,000 families.

In 2024, teachers, parents, and community-based organizations shared with Palmetto Project the greatest needs of our low-income neighbors at the start of the school year.

So we took action. With YOU.

Because of the generosity of our Midlands friends and families, we provided 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to low-income children at four (4) Midlands schools.

In 2025, you helped us double our impact and provided 1,100 children with new backpacks and school supplies they need to succed.

Thank you!

How it works

Our Process

Our Palmetto Project team has partnered with Midlands school districts and social service agencies to ensure our local students who are in the greatest need of assistance can receive it.

      • In 2024, we served four (4) schools.
      • In 2025, we served seven (7) school districts.

With your support and contributions, we can make the back-to-school season a generous season in partnership with WIS News 10.
