Our annual 35th year of magic is happening now in partnership with WIS News 10!

Special thanks to Kahn Development Group for donating our warehouse space again this year!

In December 2025, our FHF operations will return to:

9810 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29223

Until then, you can help in three ways.

    • Adopt a family and fulfill their holiday wishlist.
    • Donate or become a sponsor to ensure no family is left behind.
    • Volunteer to share the magic. Data-entry has started as of October 2025, and more opportunities will be posted soon.

Get Involved

We rely on the incredible generosity of resources and community spirit throughout the year to power FHF.

You and your family, civic organizations, employers, churches, or other social groups can volunteer to support us for shopping for school supplies or Christmas gifts, gift distribution, data entry, or the holiday telethon!

FAMILY Adoption FAQ

Adopting vs. Donating

When you adopt a family, you and your own family or group will shop, select, and deliver school supplies (or holiday gifts) for your selected recipient(s).

When you become a sponsor (organizational partner) or donate to FHF, you contribute your financial resources so that others may shop for a family.

Can I meet the family?

No, you cannot meet the family you adopt or sponsor in order to protect their privacy. But you are welcome to leave them an encouraging note if you shop for their gifts!
